James Pauley
Coach Pauley is a renowned shooting coach and Master Shooter who is currently the world’s top ranked free throw shooter. He is a three time NBSA National Free Throw Champion as well as a three time Huntsman/NBSA Senior Free Throw World Champion.
Coach Pauley has made 1000+ free throws in a row eleven times with a personal best 1710! His shooting accomplishments aren’t limited to free throw shooting. He has also made 100+ three pointers in a row 22 times (19’9” line) with a best of 283!
He won the "Coaches Challenge" at the 2013 Final Four which included both free throws and three pointers; he set the World Hot Shot record in 2014; he recorded the only perfect score in the history of the Huntsman World Senior Games making every shot in the Free Throw/3 Point Challenge in 2018.
Coach Pauley’s success as a shooting coach is impressive, as well. He has helped thousands of players improve their shooting through his work at camps, clinics, and individual instruction. They include beginners to professionals and every level in between. Dozens of his students have gone on to achieve remarkable shooting accomplishments of their own.
